Behind The Scenes: Dodgeball a True Underdog Story

This movie is about a small gym and to get money for there gym they have to create a dodgeball team. There was a lot of behind the scenes in this. They have to change the angles a lot so they only get a few seconds at a time. When they have to play in a match they get all different angles of them playing and getting hit. So when they throw the ball at someone or they are about to get hit. They cut and change the angle and re-shoot it. What is very cool about this is that it doesn't look like it got shot again and it is pretty hard to do the same throw over again. It hard because when they are filming they have to go all out to show it it serious for them so they could throw the ball different way different times. Them being serious while shooting makes it funny because it's just a game of dodgeball and they have to act so well. There are a lot of times where they have to be so serious they have to retake the shot because someone starts to laugh. When it is towards the final scenes you see there is a big crowd but there is only extras on three sides the other side is full of the crew and cameras. It is also cool because sometimes when they want the ball to go right at the camera they will throw the ball at the lens to make it like its going through straight at the person. There are so many people that went with this film and it is actually really shocking because you wouldn’t expect that many actors and extras. It would be a great experience and it was just all around very cool to see how many cameras and how many people there are just in a few seconds worth of a shot and it is like a 2 hour movie.
